Position Summary:
Provide therapeutic recreation programs that improve and maintain the physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being of 30 to 60 long term care residents residing on one or two assigned 30-bed Terraces at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke.
Employment Guide:
College diploma in Recreation or Gerontology as a field of study from an Ontario postsecondary institution or a postsecondary diploma, degree or certificate granted from another jurisdiction that the home reasonably believes is equivalent. May require post graduate Therapeutic Recreation Certificate and/or equivalent.
