Recreation Programmer - Pickleball

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Sport, the Recreation Programmer – Pickleball is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, administration, promotion, and operation of the the company’s Pickleball Centre, and the recruitment, scheduling, supervision, training, and evaluation of part-time staff/volunteers in compliance with the company Corporate Policies and Bylaws, Public Health Act, Pickleball Canada Guidelines and the company Recreation and Culture policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Post secondary diploma in the recreation field combined with progressive experience in recreation programming for all ages and abilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge and experience in pickleball and sport management/events, fitness principles, physical education or kinesiology.
