R&D Engineer (Failure Analysis)

Overview

Mangrove Lithium is developing an electrochemical lithium refining platform to produce cost-effective and sustainable battery-grade lithium from diverse sources. The company is commissioning North America’s first electrochemical lithium refining plant in Delta, B.C. We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer (Failure Analysis/Specialist) to contribute to the development and commercialization of this technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of failure analysis systems, testing, characterization, and scaling of key components of Mangrove’s technology.
• Apply understanding of anion exchange membrane (AEM) evaluation and electrochemical principles, devices, and processes to failure analysis activities.
• Work within the Technology Development – Failure Analysis team to conduct experiments and analyze results to improve reliability and performance.
