Job Overview
As a member of the ProtonVPN Research and Development team, you will maintain the security of ProtonVPN’s infrastructure and improve its overall performance. Your work will involve coding in C or Rust, scripting in Python or Lua, creating patches for the Linux kernel, or debugging system‑level issues across multiple operating systems.
What you will do
- Act as an active member of the ProtonVPN R&D team.
- Collaborate with app developers to solve complex challenges related to networking stacks on Linux, macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows systems.
- Help develop innovative solutions to improve connectivity, stability, performance, scalability, security, and resilience of ProtonVPN’s infrastructure and client software, and extend their functionality.
- Contribute to existing open‑source projects or create new ones.
