R&D Assistant Manager

GENERAL FUNCTION

This position is responsible for leading key projects and studies in R&D to support business goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepares concept or proposal papers for products recommended for development.
2. Formulates products based on agreed specifications and target costs. Ensure efficiencies on processing of formulated products and use of ingredients.
3. Ensures proper, updated and complete reporting of data gathered during compounding product evaluation and laboratory batching.
4. Ensures proper, updated and complete documentation and routing of Master Formula, Product Specifications and Mixing Forms.
5. Document all phases of research and development.
6. Works with packaging group to come up with the appropriate packaging for the products being developed.
7. Reviews and approves artworks and proofing/ bromides of all packaging materials.
