Razorback Transit Training Manager

Position Description

The Training Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs for Razorback Transit. This role provides training for all newly hired employees and manages continuing education, refresher training, and remedial training to ensure safe, compliant, and effective public transit operations. Responsibilities include developing engaging training curricula for fixed‑route operations, paratransit service, customer service, safety procedures, regulatory compliance, vehicle familiarization, route knowledge, and operational best practices.

This position maintains all records related to driver qualification, employee training, route training, remedial instruction, and compliance documentation. The Training Manager oversees the Route Training and Evaluation Program, ensuring all applicable drivers meet Entry‑Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements.
