Responsible for raw material planning, follow-up of releases with all suppliers, maintaining optimum level of raw material to control obsoletes and avoid production shortages and downtime. Avoid premium freight costs for transportation. Improvement and optimization of procurement planning processes. Further rollout of preferred supply concepts and contribution to TCT reduction targets and LOG cost achievement.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordination with Sourcing, Manufacturing and Warehouse Departments to ensure the smooth operation of planning, incoming raw material to maximize inventory utilization and manufacturing capacity.
- Expedite and reschedule open purchase orders to suit production planning requirements.
- Review and provide follow-up on orders placed, verify delivery, and maintain necessary records.
