General Description
Responsible for implementing, maintaining and controlling all robotics, automation and control equipment. Supports daily operation and ensures that all processes and procedures are correct before each production start. Must promote an excellent relationship with other departments.
Experience and Education
- Engineering (Mechatronics or Electromechanical)
- Bilingual (80% English) verbal and written
- 5 years in similar position (Control Engineer, Automation, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills and Certification
- Experience in FANUC robots
- Programming in PLC (RSLogix 500, 5000, Studio5000, S7 and TIA Portal)
- Ignition v8 (vision & perspective)
- Application development (SCADA)
- Reading electrical and pneumatic diagrams
- Programming languages (Jython, Script, MSSQL)
- Knowledge of SAP (plus)
- Knowledge of PowerBi (plus)
