Business Overview

The Marketing Division leads branding, brand asset creation, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to expand Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.

Department Overview

Rakuten Design Lab is a creative organization whose main scopes are (1) branding, (2) creative research, and (3) production, and its purpose is to contribute to the expansion of the Rakuten ecosystem through:

- Branding / brand asset development

- Creative research / solution development

- Creative output

As a creative organization under Kashiwa Sato, CCD (Chief Creative Director) of Rakuten Group, it is responsible for the branding of the entire group and leads creative initiatives through creative direction, art direction, and various productions, in collaboration with top management, external agencies, and various domestic and international group departments.
