Responsibilities
- Assist in operating raisebore and longhole drills and all associated equipment.
- Assist in moving, set-up, teardown, and placement of raisebore/longhole drilling equipment and drills.
- Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers.
Requirements
- Minimum grade twelve education or equivalent.
- Previous work as a driller's helper in a mining environment.
- Minimum of two years underground work experience.
- Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills.
- Rotating day shift/night shift schedule.
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with raisebore or longhole drills.
- Experience in longhole drilling and blasting.
- Ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer).
