Scope of the Position
The Distribution Quotation Specialist is responsible for coordinating and interpreting electrical specifications and drawing requirements for Project Quotations to ensure Robertson Electric is awarded the highest percentage of Project work available in our marketplace. The specialist drives process excellence to ensure correct costs and products match specified project requirements, and upon job award facilitates project handoff to project contract managers for execution.
Major Responsibilities
- Convert written specifications and construction drawings into quotations; determine the most cost-effective options to meet project specifications.
- Receive requests and respond to inquiries from customers.
- Meet with vendors/suppliers to build strong and profitable relationships that benefit the company and give vendors/suppliers an incentive to drive more project opportunities to Robertson Electric.
