Quantum Microfabrication Engineer

Overview

Arctic Instruments is a deep tech spin-off from VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland with a global customer base. We make quantum-limited parametric amplifiers, a superconducting technology that addresses one of the biggest challenges in quantum computing: high-fidelity qubit readout. We are looking to further develop this cutting-edge technology and distribute it among quantum computer builders and researchers to enable them in the race towards quantum utility.

Responsibilities

As a Microfabrication Engineer , you will work in wafer-level fabrication of our superconducting circuits as part of our cleanroom fabrication team. You will work with semiconductor processing equipment in a cleanroom facility in Espoo, Finland, developing our processes, improving processes of record, and planning, overseeing and executing fabrication runs for both production and development purposes.
