Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
- Manage tendering processes and evaluate contractor bids
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle
- Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and variation orders
- Liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and clients
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- BSc Quantity Surveying degree (essential)
- Consultancy experience (essential)
- Minimum 35 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JBCC, NEC, FIDIC)
- Proficiency in measurement software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft) and MS Excel
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
