Description
The Quality Technician role is key to the quality department and the production floor.
It covers several areas of inspection responsibility throughout the facility.
This position is a critical link between production floor associates and engineering specifications and requirements.
The person in this role will ensure that quality standards and associated procedures are met and take appropriate action when necessary to meet agreed deadlines, quality performance, and production targets.
The role also includes cross-training across the department and assisting when there is a bottleneck in an inspection area, covering vacation time, or managing absences.
You will be responsible for supporting team cohesion within the department and the plant and leading by example.
Qualifications and Competences
- High school diploma or equivalent or qualifying experience, ASQ CQT CMI certification is a plus.
