Job Description Quality Control Manager Opening gpac is partnered with a Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Fabricator seeking a CWI! The Quality Control Manager/CWI is responsible to oversee the application of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program, including inspections, weld procedures, material receiving, audits, paperwork, working in a misc. Metals and Steel fabrication shop environment, being involved in 'Code Work' and auditing of all QC paperwork prior to submittal. CWI Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with QMS and AISC’s certification requirements. Document Control for QC and Welding Understanding and working knowledge of construction codes and standards and the application of effective quality control measures Read and understand material and welding specs per contract documents.
