Quality Assurance and Testing Engineer

Become a pivotal part of Barkman Concrete’s team as a Quality Assurance and Testing Technician in Steinbach, MB. This full-time position focuses on ensuring our wet cast concrete products meet stringent internal and industry standards.
In this role, you will perform critical evaluations of concrete, conduct tests, and participate actively in quality assurance practices. Your expertise with concrete materials and mix designs will support the integration of improvements across production processes and ensure adherence to specifications while maintaining data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct slump, flow, and temperature tests
• Cast and cure concrete cylinders for performance testing
• Visit production areas to assess performance conditions
• Collaborate with teams to solve mix issues
• Maintain accurate wet cast testing records
