Position Summary
FPS Food Process Solutions Corp. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Qualified Pressure Welder (Class A) to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will perform high-quality pressure welding work related to the assembly, fabrication, installation, testing, maintenance, repair, and alteration of pressure vessels and food-grade equipment in compliance with applicable safety standards and welding codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pressure welding in accordance with the Safety Standards Act and the Power Engineers, Boiler, Pressure Vessel, and Refrigeration Safety Regulation
- Read and interpret welding procedures, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Execute GTAW (TIG) welding on SS304 and SS316 thin‑walled piping with a high level of precision
- Perform back‑purging and maintain internal root‑pass cleanliness to food‑grade standards
