What you will be doing:
Acts as the Qualified Coordinator on multiple-employer construction workplaces.
Coordinates health and safety activities between different trades and contractors to ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations.
Ensure all employers and workers on site are aware of known hazards.
Facilitate communication between employers to prevent overlapping hazards.
Participates in the identification and communication of hazards to the employers on site.
Ensures mitigation strategies are in place and communicated to all affected parties.
Ensures that safety programs and practices are adhered to during the course of the work through workplace inspections.
Ensures Notice Of projects (NOP) are submitted and updated, as required.
Updates and maintains Prime Contractor Safety Management Plan
Evaluates first aid and emergency response needs; and coordinates mock drills and evacuations, as required...
