Qualified SEN Tutor – Outreach (Barking & Dagenham)
About the Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition in Maths and English to young people across Barking & Dagenham. Learners may be out of school due to a range of additional needs, and require a patient, adaptable tutor who can provide structured, engaging sessions that rebuild confidence and support steady academic progress.
Tuition will typically be 10-15 hours per week, delivered in the home or community setting. Many pupils will have experienced disrupted education, so the ability to differentiate, build rapport, and create a safe, supportive learning environment is essential.
Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor progress and ensure each learner receives consistent, high‑quality support.
