I am partnered with an exciting Satellite operator who are looking to hire a candidate to work within the New Programs and Space Infrastructure Department. We are looking for an experienced Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) engineer, with strong experience within QKD, experience and supervising projects. You will have the opportunity to contribute towards a portfolio of highly innovative and challenging projects including GEO-QKD and multiple projects within the EuroQCI ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have: A PhD or Master's degree in Physics, Telecommunications Engineering, Photonics, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in quantum communications, with a particular focus on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). Experience in the space sector. Demonstrated participation in ESA and European-funded programmes, such as Horizon Europe, EuroQCI, or the Quantum Flagship initiatives.
