Job Description
The role involves performing QA/QC on downtools, verifying drawings using calipers and micrometers, and documenting the process on a computer.
The technician will also assist in disassembling, repairing, maintaining, washing, buffing, painting, and reassembling downhole tools, specifically mud motors.
The position requires hands-on work with basic hand and power tools and may involve operating an overhead crane once trained.
Responsibilities
- Perform QA/QC checks on downtools using calipers and micrometers.
- Verify drawings and document processes using a computer.
- Use basic hand and power tools, heating torch, hand grinder, stamper, etc.
- Operate overhead crane upon receiving training.
