Responsibilities:
. Conduct, witness of welding procedure and welder qualification tests including of the preparation of test pieces and destructive tests and verifying compliance with appropriate standards and specifications.
. Verification that adequate and valid welder approvals are available, and that only approved welders as required are used in production.
. Conduct visual and specific inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), project specifications, and QA/QC procedures.
. Coordinate with QAQC Inspectors (Hull/Structure, DC and Piping) and NDT Coordinator, to verify and ensure that all finished welds are checked and accepted for all stages of the project, from material inspection through delivery.
. Ensure that quality assurance standards and procedures are maintained.
. Prepare and maintain inspection records, reports accordingly to the project specifications.
