Python (Linear Programming) Engineer - Remote in México

Your Role

You will join a specialist group that uses advanced math, computer programs, and data to build mathematical models that make smart, fast business choices - decide where to spend money on exploration, exploitation and how to run oil and gas projects.

• Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support business processes.
• Create and optimize math models, workflows, including uploading inputs into existing scripts, and design simple UI components where needed.
• Implement Linear Programming with Python.
• Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.
• Integrate and interact with databases for data storage and retrieval.
• Perform data extraction and parsing from third‑party APIs.
• Support GIS mapping tasks.
