Purchasing Supervisors plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products, and services.
Also identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors based on price, quality, reliability and compliance with delivery times. Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and contractual agreements.
Experiência y requisitos
**Requirements**:
BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
5 years’ experience in raw material purchasing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar position
Bilingual English and Spanish
Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (spreadsheet management, creating graphs and using advanced formulas)
Demonstrated strong knowledge of purchasing systems.
