- Addressing problems with incorrect, defective, or delayed purchased parts.
- Communicating with supplier to resolve discrepancies in orders, damaged goods, or warranty claims.
- Finding alternative sources when there are shortages, backorders, or urgent needs.
- Help in managing returns, refunds, or credits for faulty or incorrect parts.
- Assist in identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the parts supply process.
- Verifying if replacement parts are stocked and available before buying it.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Automotive Technology, Engineering or a related field (preferred but not always required).
- Experience in construction or fleet parts’ purchasing (typically 1+ year).
- Background in supplier negotiation and understanding of construction materials, vehicle parts and/or components.
