The Purchasing clerks are responsible for purchasing raw materials, products and supplies for an organization under the direct supervision of a purchasing manager or buyer. Responsibilities vary based on the size and type of products an organization uses or produces. Also referred to as purchasing agents or analysts, these professionals work to ensure the highest quality and best prices for the materials they purchase.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- K.1. Responsible for preparing purchase orders on behalf of the Hotel
- K.2. Responsible for creating and maintaining purchasing files and price lists, as well as determining if the department have enough inventory on hand.
