JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for coordinating and managing the procurement of products from international suppliers to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Local canvas of office and operation requirements
- Preparation of PO, Goods Receipt List via SAP Business One
- Processing of importation
- Communicate with overseas suppliers regarding orders
- Check completeness and accuracy of shipping documents
- Ensure that all shipments comply with PH FDA registration
- Work with freight forwarders and custom broker about shipment
- Track shipments from origin to destination, monitor ETD and ETA, report any delays
- Preparing Landed Cost, computation of duties and taxes
