Job Description
This position is responsible for purchasing goods for the organization. The main responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, negotiating price, and reviewing quality of goods and services of suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Scout and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotes, analyze proposals, by gathering data and considering price, quality, availability, service of the product or service.
- Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from the proper department.
- Ensure invoices are correct before forwarding to the Accounting Department.
- Support departments with purchase quotations
