Purchaser - MEP

Job Purpose

The incumbent is responsible to study and understand the requisition of materials from the various jobs/contracts, source for ideal suppliers, negotiate the optimum prices and manage appropriate logistics for delivery. He will effectively manage the inventory levels as per the prescribed norms.

Job Responsibilities

• Procurement Planning Review MEP material requisitions and BOQs. Align procurement schedules with project timelines and lead times to ensure timely ordering.
• Vendor Management Identify, assess, and prequalify MEP vendors and subcontractors. Float enquiries, evaluate offers, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• MEP Procurement Procure HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing materials, and related consumables. Coordinate subcontract services, equipment hire, and labor as needed. Ensure timely delivery with complete documentation.
