Nelson Permanent Placements are looking for an experienced Pump Fitter to join a busy and growing engineering company working across a range of industrial sectors.
This is a hands-on workshop role involving the repair, inspection, dismantling and assembly of industrial pumps. The successful candidate will join a friendly and professional team with excellent long-term career opportunities.
To be considered for this role as a Pump Fitter you will have:
* Previous experience working as a Pump Fitter, Mechanical Fitter or within an engineering workshop - prefably time served as an apprentice
* Good knowledge of industrial pumps and rotating equipment
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical information
* Experience using measuring and testing equipment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
