Public Safety Coordinator

Position Summary

Strategic‑oriented position that develops, implements and documents corporate public safety programs and serves as project coordinator for operating company public safety programs. Coordinates activities in support of pipeline regulatory compliance and public awareness programs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Interact closely with internal stakeholders including jurisdictional leaders, directors and managers to support the corporate objectives for public safety and include regulatory compliance defined in RP 1162. Coordinate projects that support Xcel Energy’s Public Awareness Written Plan. Continuous interaction with external stakeholders serving as Xcel Energy’s liaison to state and region pipeline partnerships established within states and/or regionally to address state and federal pipeline safety regulations.
