Psychosocial Program Specialist - (MAID)

Position Overview

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Experience

• Minimum five years’ experience in relevant fields such as: palliative care, or medical assistance in dying (MAID), hospice, mental health, chronic or degenerative diseases or geriatrics.
• Expertise and experience with interprofessional collaboration, psychosocial assessment, consultation, and team building.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE) accredited school/faculty, or the approved equivalent if internationally educated.
