Property Acquisitions Controls Officer

Metrolinx is an agency of the Government of Ontario that operates GO Transit, UP Express, and the PRESTO fare system, and is developing major transit expansions across the Greater Golden Horseshoe.

The Property Acquisitions Team seeks a Property Acquisitions Controls Officer to support property data analysis, closing and payment of property acquisitions, approval memo processing, expenditure tracking, variance reporting, financial analysis, and budget control of property projects within the Capital Projects Group (CPG). The role reports to the Manager, Property Acquisitions Controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform the closing function when acquiring property to ensure timely transfer of funds and proper documentation for audit purposes.
