Position Overview

Temporary Residential Property Accountant (3‑4 month contract) based in Downtown Ottawa, working onsite.

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Accountant to join a small, collaborative property management company in Ottawa on a temporary contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, is confident working independently, and is comfortable taking ownership of day‑to‑day accounting responsibilities for a portfolio of residential properties.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple residential properties.
• Complete bank and account reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
• Post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and support month‑end and year‑end processes.
