**Assignment Description**
- Issue RFQ’s based on project requirements
- Negotiate and place commitments with suppliers
- Expedite purchase orders ensuring that delivery dates are met, and any supply issues are resolved
- Participate in meetings as required
- Develop relationships with key suppliers and internal customers
- Sourcing alternative products and reviewing existing
- Obtain knowledge of procurement function’s forms of contract and procedures
- Maintain up to date and use the Project Procurement Plan
- Involved in strategy and approval process
