Job Overview:
The Project QS reports directly to the Contract Manager and is attached to specific project(s) to manage cost, contract, and financial matters throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting & Assignment:
Report directly to the Contract Manager
Attached to assigned project(s)
Key Responsibilities:
Upon Project Confirmation
Understand and apply construction contract fundamentals (PSSCOC, SIA, SOPA FIDIC for overseas projects is an added advantage)
Assist in procurement of major equipment and confirmation of subcontractors
During Project Construction
Manage Variation Orders (VO) and identify contract boundaries between:
Winner and Main Contractor / Client
Winner and Subcontractors / Suppliers
Prepare cash flow project...
