In this role, you will act as a project planner within a multidisciplinary research and development team responsible for analyzing, designing, executing, and integrating solutions for clients such as the Canadian Space Agency and for ABB’s measurement and analysis products.
Responsibilities
- Develop project schedules, including preparing work packages, task sequencing and duration, milestone planning, determining the critical path, and optimizing resources.
- Obtain information required for schedule updates and keep schedules up to date; manage project timelines and optimize schedules based on received information.
- Perform budget tracking for projects; control approved budgets in SAP versus the costs captured in Primavera.
- Analyze project progress and variances compared to the approved baseline, assess schedule risks, propose corrective actions, and adjust schedules accordingly.
