Project & Onboarding Technician

Job Summary

Umbrella IT Services is seeking a detail-oriented Project & Onboarding Technician to help onboard new clients, audit their existing systems, and build secure, scalable IT environments. In this role, you’ll assess networks, servers, cloud platforms, and policies; identify risks and improvements; and lead projects such as securing existing infrastructure, network deployments, Microsoft 365 migrations, and backup implementations.

You’ll work closely with our service desk and management team to ensure every client transition is smooth, documented, and aligned with our security standards. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys structured work, modern security tools, and seeing projects through from assessment to completion.

Duties

Client Infrastructure Auditing

• Perform comprehensive audits of new client environments, including users, devices, servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security configurations.
