Job Responsibilities
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role
- Ability to perform the following welding techniques: OAW, FCAW, GTAW, TIG, GMAW and SMAW
- Working at Heights certification is an asset
- Ability to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual, semi-automatic or fully automated welding equipment
- Recommended knowledge of brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
- Ability to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal
- Familiar with plasma coatings, stainless steel, steel, iron, heavy metals and aluminum alloys
- Experience with Water and Water Treatment Plants is an asset
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Industrial Millwright Trade Certificate is necessary
