Large civil contractor seeking a new team member to fill the position of Project Manager / Estimator who will manage unique heavy civil infrastructure projects valued from $500k – $20m. The Project Manager / Estimator will produce estimates for a wide range of complex and unique heavy civil infrastructure competitive tenders and manage all aspects of the project from start to finish. Outpost Recruitment is excited to work with our client on this full-time permanent role.

Key Accountabilities of Project Manager / Estimator:

• Analyze the project and estimate requirements and establish a plan for developing the estimate.
• Review scope of work, identify subcontractor packages and secure subcontract tenders through an evaluation process for inclusion in the estimate.
• Estimate all self-perform items; labour, equipment, materials etc. using a bottom up approach based on past experience.
• Prepare a complete estimate in Hard Dollar.
