Project Manager, Design and Construction

Overview

Reporting to the Director, Project Management, the Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of projects and works, operating with a high degree of autonomy to ensure adherence to the Queen's Design Standards, and other applicable Queen's programs and initiatives.

The project portfolio may include deferred maintenance, departmental priorities, grant-funded initiatives, emergency projects, and other capital and renewal work supporting Queen's University Facilities.

This position is the project lead for moderately-complex renovation and construction projects. This position is involved with the project from open to close including defining project milestones, design, construction, budget adherence, quality, and closeout.
