Essential Duties – Project Management Specialist II

• Assists in developing and supporting standard operating procedures for creating, maintaining, and archiving project schedules in accordance with document retention policies.
• Plans, develops, maintains, and makes recommendations concerning detailed project schedules, ensuring on‑time completion of projects with optimal resource allocation.
• Supports the project management team and assists with the maintenance of timely and effective change management processes, procedures, and systems.
• Analyzes and reports on program funding change scenarios and their impact on individual project schedules.
• Assesses and reports actual project progress versus planned progress to determine trends and variances.
• Assists in critical path method (CPM) software implementation and best practices.
