The Project Lead plays a key role in the execution of both project freight and specialized freight within Q-Line’s Projects Division. This position is responsible for leading day-to-day coordination and execution of assigned scopes, working closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure freight movements meet all safety, service, and scheduling requirements. Functioning as the primary operational owner, the Project Lead ensures project and specialized requirements are properly scoped, costed, communicated, and executed. They work in tandem with a Project Coordinator, who supports administrative and logistics functions, while the Project Lead holds greater operational authority and decision-making responsibility. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Lead supports planning, SOP development, and field execution, escalating exceptions, risks, and resource constraints as needed.
