Responsibilities
- Review project contracts, technical specifications, IFC drawings, method statements and installation procedures
- Prepare installation work packs, task plans, risk assessments and engineering calculations
- Coordinate route surveys, cable burial assessments and seabed preparation activities
- Support development of project schedules, mobilisation plans and resource requirements
- Review installation methodologies for cable lay, sleeper placement, crossings and post‑lay activities
- Supervise offshore cable laying operations from installation vessels, barges or construction support vessels
- Coordinate deployment and installation of concrete sleepers, cable protection systems, mattresses and crossing supports
- Monitor vessel operations (DP activities, cable tension, lay speed, touchdown monitoring and route adherence)
