Job Overview
Reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer leads the development of the scope of work, the detailed engineering specifications, and the engineering plans in order to meet all project deliverables of VIA Rail internal or external projects. The engineer is accountable for establishing design review schedules, ensuring specification requirements are met, assessing the impact of changes and actions required, and acting as a liaison between the engineering team and the project management team. The main point of contact with suppliers or sub-contractors.
