Bird Construction is seeking candidates for our Project Coordinator position in support of upcoming projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent and will be responsible for coordination of all production requirements including safety, quality, administration, scheduling, cost controls, and client/sub-contractor/craft communication and management. This position will be based out of the Kelowna office.
What You Will Be Working On
- Work with the business to develop business case and feasibility studies for project intake
- Assist with major construction projects, including liaison with Owners, Consulting Engineers and Subcontractors
- Support with the preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule
- Review and process shop drawings
- Coordinate material and equipment needs
- Prepare weekly productivity and cost tracking
