Project buyer

RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the Lead Buyer for local teams in regional and global development programs. Negotiate optimal pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers. Lead sourcing activities for BOM components. Track and manage program deliverables, including sourcing status, financials, and supplier timing. Support and drive cost‑reduction initiatives in line with regional and global purchasing objectives. Manage supplier relationships in compliance with established purchasing procedures and policies. Prepare, issue, and analyze Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from approved suppliers to support production and pre‑production needs, and issue corresponding purchase orders. Assists and/or leads the resolution of production, design, quality and/or delivery problems. Lead or assist in resolving production, design, quality, and delivery issues.
