Responsibilities
Responsible for all purchased parts that apply to a customer project regarding costs, quality and deadlines.
Support special project sourcing strategies that are part of new high‐dollar, critical components with long‐term, preferred suppliers.
Provide cost‐and‐quality favourable quotations for required materials outside the NAFTA market.
Perform cost and value analysis in cooperation with other departments, centres and product teams.
Investigate potentials for substitution of material and alternate manufacturing processes.
