The Project Accountant supports the financial management of construction projects by partnering closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost tracking.
This role is responsible for maintaining project financial health through variance analysis, progress billing, compliance documentation, and customer invoicing, while ensuring adherence to contract terms and company processes.
Responsibilities: Perform detailed variance analysis for projects on a monthly basis to ensure projects remain on budget, or strategize on ways to improve profitability, together with the Project Managers Hold monthly meetings with Project Managers to determine monthly invoicing requirements, and support AR to ensure invoices are received timely Assist in preparing compliance documentation, including collection of waivers, certificates of insurance, bonding, amongst others Review construction contracts and ensure project is accurately set-u...
