Role Overview
As the Project Accountant you are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable. You will perform a range of tasks related to purchase orders, subcontractor management and time capture, working under moderate supervision while solving routine problems within defined procedures and providing support to various project teams. This position will be site based in Caledon, ON, as part of the Finance Operations team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Processes subcontractor invoices by ensuring invoice packages meet approval requirements; investigates vendor inquiries; distributes cheques and reconciles monthly statements.
- Reviews purchase orders for accuracy and completeness prior to commitment.
- Investigates and resolves discrepancies between PO quantities, receipts, and invoices.
